The International Skateboarding Judging Commission (ISJC) was created to foster the Athlete-led progression of skateboarding while highlighting the importance of creativity and originality within skateboarding competitions.

The ISJC is committed to enhancing the spontaneous development of competitive skateboarding while creating an easy-to-understand, level playing field for Athletes to compete globally.

The ISJC fulfills its scope by:

  • Observing skateboarding’s technical development
  • Observing and evaluating the impact of judging over Skateboarding competition
  • Discussing and defining judging standards with Athlete representatives
  • Engaging with Skatepark designers to fine-tune FOP layouts.
  • Defining and deploying educational programs for national and international judges
  • Design and deliver, together with the Skateboarding (SB) Communication Manager, a communication plan to spread the understanding of judging standards.
